It is approximately 55 miles to the Gulf Stream from Wrightsville Beach where blue marlin, sailfish, white marlin, wahoo, tuna, mahi-mahi and many more pelagic fish species are found. In addition the near shore waters off the coast of Wrightsville Beach host some of the best bottom fishing activity in the state for grouper, sea bass, snapper and more.
